You will be put through to NHS 111 and speak to a team of advisors, who will make a decision as to whether you require advice only, whether you need to visit an Urgent Care Centre or Minor Injuries Unit, send an ambulance to you or whether you need a doctor or nurse to visit your home.
Out-of-hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
8:00am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday
7:00am - 8:00am Wednesday & Friday
8:00am - 11:30am Saturday fortnightly
Please note that Saturday appointments are only bookable in advance. There are no open-on-the-day appointments for Saturday mornings.
Extended access appointments are available between 18:30 and 20:00 daily. These appointments are provided on a rotational basis by Hertsmere practices and patients may need to travel to Borehamwood, Radlett, Shenley or Elstree for their appointment.
